I received a Bachelors in Elementary Education from Augsburg College, Montessori Training from College of St. Catherine, and a Master's in administration and Admin License from MN State University, Mankato. Hello all! My name is Clare Foley Peters and I am honored to be the Assistant Principal here at Seward Montessori School. This year will be my first year at Seward. I look forward to sharing my passion for education and education equity and my joy for working with students and growing together in our learning of the world around us. I went to the College of Saint Benedict for my undergraduate work where I majored in Psychology and Hispanic Studies. Then, I went to the University of Minnesota for my Masters in Elementary Education and for my PK-12 Administration Post baccalaureate Certificate.
In my free time you will find me spending time with my husband, my dog Oso, and with members of my large family or amazing group of friends. In addition, I love watching and playing sports and I am a big Minnesota sports fan, especially football and basketball. Lastly, I have

Hi! I'm Christine Brand, Transportation Coordinator, Website Admin, AE and Safety Patrol Advisor. I graduated from Valparaiso University in Indiana with majors in Mathematics and Art History and a minor in Gender Studies. I taught math at a high school in south Chicago for a year before entering the private sector as a Contract Analyst for a Software Auditing company. After staying home to raise my children for nearly 10 years, I re-entered the work force as an SEA at Roosevelt High School before starting at Seward as an AE in Eve's High Five Classroom. After a year in the pre-K classroom, I took over the Transportation Coordination for Seward. I enjoy seeing all the students and families in the office and being able to assist with any help needed. I also run the

Hello! I am Michelle Rukavina, Seward Community Education Coordinator of Youth Enrichment | After School. I graduated from The Minneapolis College of Art and Design. Some fun facts about me: I enjoy growing my own veggie gardens, camping in the summer and kicking with my dog and daughter all over the Seward neighborhood! I am truly looking forward to supporting Seward’s young people— to meet their basic personal and social needs while exploring enrichment learning opportunities that build competencies necessary for a successful life.
