New E2 Teacher Joins Seward

Please join the Seward staff in welcoming Edward Kramer to our learning community. He is looking forward to working with our E2 students in room 208! Here's a note from Edward:

My educational career began as a finance major at the University of St. Thomas. Working in derivatives and fixed-income securities in downtown Minneapolis was not my thing, so I went to school again for conventional education. I received my Master's in Education at St. Mary's University. However, this was not the right fit either.

Luckily I substitute taught at a Montessori school in St. Paul and discovered Montessori education. I began as a Montessorian at J. J. Hill Montessori School and was there for around 6 years. At that point, I went abroad where I opened a Montessori school in Moscow, Russia.

My favorite part of the Montessori curriculum is Math, with language a close second. In my spare time I enjoy making Montessori materials, working on vintage motorcycles, and playing with my three cats.
