Seward Classrooms and Staff

Seward Montessori, the elementary portion of Seward School, has three major learning groups: Children's House, E1 and E1. Children's House consists of two Pre-K classrooms, one half day morning class and one half day afternoon class, and four (4) Kindergarten classrooms. E1 has eleven (11) classrooms that combine 1st, 2nd and 3rd grades. E2 has six (6) classrooms that combine 4th and 5th grades. Elementary students also spend time with Specialist in Art, Health, Media, Music, Physical Education, and Science. E2 students can also join Band or Choir.

Seward Middle School serves 6th, 7th and 8th grades. Students in these grades follow a schedule of classes with different teachers throughout the day, similar to a high school. Middle School students spend time in Electives, which also include Art, Health, Media, Choir or Band, Physical Education and many rotating choices.

Seward also has teachers for special education, literacy, English language learning, and advanced learners.

All grade levels are supported by the office, health office, student support services, associate educators and special education assistants, and reading tutors.
