Jim Trelease Home Page

The Trelease's site is an excellent resource for parents to discuss the importance of reading to and with your children.  Trelease has many excellent tips for parents about how to get your child to read.

Scholastic Book Wizard

Scholastic has a resource that allows you to enter a reading level (A-Z) and it will provide book titles at that reading level. 

PBS Kids

This site is a helpful resource for parents and has fun, educational games for students.

Guys Read

Jon Scieszka, author of several books has a site geared towards boys/guys!  He focuses on inspiriing boys/guys to read!

Emily Reads  

Since we have a site for the guys...here's one for girls (well, really all readers).  Emily Read's tag-line is: "I read books, lots of 'em!  She shares tips on the latest and greatest books!
