High School Request forms DUE FEBRUARY 3rd, 2019!

(Note: Filling out forms earlier does not mean you have a "better chance" at getting placed at your first choice school.)

2018 Fall/Winter: High School Open Houses, Tours, Gathering Information

Patrick Henry: Wednesday, November 14th, 2018 -- 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.

Washburn: Thursday, November 15th, 2018 -- 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. 

South: Monday, November 19th, 2018 -- 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.

Edison: Tuesday, November 27th, 2018 -- 5:30 - 8:00 p.m. 

Fair School Downtown: Thursday, November 29th, 2018 -- 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.

Roosevelt: Thursday, December 6th, 2018 -- 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.

Southwest: Thursday, December 6th, 2018 -- 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.

Heritage: Call 612-668-1580 to set up a tour appointment.

North: TBD

Winter: Research your options for high school by visiting the school choice website. Click Here to research your options. The online request forms are available online mid November.

(Note that getting your request forms in earlier will not give you an advantage for getting your 1st choice high school.)

Spring 2019: High School Placements are mailed to families around Spring Break time. 

*Appeals can be submitted, but are granted very rarely depending on circumstance.

High School Course Registration can be done through: (after placements have taken place)

·        High School Registration Nights

·        Some high schools have their counselors visit Seward

·        Kaisa can also help students register for high school classes as well as answer any questions families have about the process (kaisa.lee@mpls.k12.mn.us
