8th Grade Field Trips...

 

YMCA Camp Ihduhapi in Loretto, MN!

Team-building games and activities along with high ropes courses help the students (and teachers) get to know one another and connect on a different level (literally)! Students are faced with healthy challenges throughout the day but are never forced to do a course they do not feel comfortable trying.  Click here for more info.

Afton Alps Ski/ Buck Hills Snow Tube Trip!  

The 7th and 8th grade students go on this trip together and have the opportunity to choose to downhill ski (or snowboard) at Afton Alps or snow tube at Buck Hill. We have a great time on the slopes and hanging out in the chalet. This trip is for those who have never stepped foot on the slopes before, to the experienced ski/snowboard/snow tubers!  Click here for more info.

University of Minnesota Trip!

The 8th grade students all have the opportunity to spend a day on the UofM campus in Minneapolis! On campus they get a presentation by various faculty, professors, and college students about the importance of starting to think about your future, tips on what to do in high school to prepare you for college, and testimonials about life as a college student. We eat lunch at Comstock on campus and then walk back to Seward!

Valleyfair Trip!

This trip is organized and coordinated by the 8th grade parents. The kids go to Valleyfair typically the day after school is out and celebrate the completion of 8th grade together in the sun!
